References and Research Rooms

The establishment in September 2002 of a Reference Research Room of the Founding Father of the University of Sindh’s New Campus and former Vice Chancellor (1951-1959), the Late Allama I.I. Kazi Saheb is an appreciation of the man’s vision and contribution to the University. In this room books, speeches and articles either written by the Allama Saheb or written on him, have been preserved for posterity. In this regard, Dr. Nabi Bux Baloch, former Vice Chancellor, and at present Incharge Allama I.I. Kazi Professorial Chair has very kindly presented 70 titles (approximately 6500 multiple copies) and other rare material on Allama Saheb to the Library. It has been set and displayed in a separate room. Further a room on 3^rd floor is under the decorative process to house books donated by Dr. N.A Baloch (1200) and N.B.G. Kazi.
