Rules and Regulations for Membership

  1. The students, enrolled in various Departments of the University of Sindh, shall be entitled to borrow books from the Book Bank.

  2. The students are required to fill in the prescribed form to become regular members of the Book Bank.

  3. Each member is entitled to borrow three books at a time for an academic session. He may return/draw books during the session provided the total number of books drawn remains three.

  4. A member is required to pay a rental fee at the rate of 5% of any book borrowed from the Book Bank. The payment is to be made in advance.

  5. All books are to be returned at the time of filling forms of final semester/annual examinations.

  6. A list of defaulters will be communicated to the Controller of Examinations and the result of defaulting students will not be declared until they return overdue books and clear all dues.

  7. No certificate of any kind will be issued to such a student who fails to return the borrowed books to the Book Bank.

  8. Books are to be kept in good condition. No marking are to be made inside the books. Any damage or loss of books will have to be made good or else the price of the book will be recovered from the student in full.
